"Agrocomplex" revives the Medvedovsky meat-packing plant

"Agrocomplex" named after N.I. Tkachev launched an investment project for the reconstruction of the former Medvedovsky MEAT processing plant worth 700 million rubles. These funds will be used to restore the infrastructure and repair the facilities of the enterprise. After the launch of production, the agricultural holding plans to produce 3 tons of raw smoked and 30 tons of boiled-smoked sausages and delicacies per day, provide about a hundred new jobs.

“We intend to continue the history of the famous meat processing plant in its best traditions. To revive labor collectives and improve the quality of life of the local population, to win the recognition of southerners again by producing a high-quality recognizable product,” said Victoria Serbat, General DIRECTOR of MMK LLC. - And after reaching full capacity, we will be able to produce up to 15 tons of raw smoked and 50 tons of boiled-smoked sausages per day. In addition, expand the staff to 400 employees.

Currently, the company is installing a new block-modular boiler house, which, at the lowest cost, will provide year-round heat and hot water needs for the meat processing plant itself, as well as the population of nineteen apartment buildings and the village kindergarten No. 21. Finishing work on the premises and equipping with technological equipment for the production of sausages of the main building of the plant, located in a renovated three-story building, are underway.

The modernized plant will install climate chambers for fermentation and drying, unique for Agrocomplex, which were not previously used due to the limited volumes of traditional production of raw smoked sausages. In addition, technologies for slicer and portion cutting will be introduced, as well as the production of whole-muscle delicacies of even shape and fixed weight. The first batches of new raw-smoked, boiled-smoked sausages and delicacies are expected by May 2022.

“Customers still remember Medvedov’s sausages “Armenian”, “Braunschweig”, sujuk as the most delicious in the Kuban. We plan to leave this part of the range and add new recipes. All together to sell in the middle segment and above under a new brand. We would like such premium products to become our calling card,” Victoria Serbat added.

The formation of a personnel reserve of MMK LLC in the village of Medvedovskaya is already underway. Engineering and technical personnel from the local population and neighboring areas were involved in the work. At this stage, applicants with working specialties are welcome: locksmiths, electricians, welders, engineers, technologists.
