Agroexport spoke about government support measures for the meat industry

The following support mechanisms were examined in detail at the event: 

• program to compensate part of the costs of transporting agricultural products;
• preferential EXPORT credit program;
• co-financing of participation in international exhibitions and business missions;
• financing the placement of products in pavilions in foreign countries.

They also presented the portfolio of support for the export of agricultural products provided by Agroexport.

The speakers presented a service for managing export requests and talked about its functionality. With the help of the service, companies receive prompt and personalized support about promising markets for agricultural products, potential partners and opportunities to establish contacts with them. The service also provides exporters with the necessary information regarding the legal regulation of export operations. To submit an application, you need to register on the website and fill out a form. 

Agroexport commented on the possibilities of participation in business missions. This year, trips to CHINA , India and Kazakhstan are planned . The industry union consolidates applications for participation, Agroexport, for its part, prepares a business program, organizes an exhibition exposition of Russian exporters, selects and conducts business meetings and B2B negotiations with importers and distributors of food.

Close attention was paid to the program "Compensation of Partial Costs of Transportation of Agricultural Products". Representatives of Agroexport reported that companies can subsidize 25% of the costs of transportation of agricultural products for all directions, 50% when shipping to a number of countries in the African continent, the Middle East and Southeast Asia for deliveries made in the period from June 1, 2024 to June 30 of the current year. All MEAT products are eligible for the targeted use of the subsidy .

To receive support, companies must submit an application through the My Export platform to JSC REC. Applications will be accepted until August 15, 2025. The key conditions for receiving are: 

• use of a Russian logistics company operator;
• increasing the value of shipped products by 3 times the amount of the requested subsidy;
• the company has no outstanding debts;
• delivery by any transport except air (road, rail, water or a combination of these).
