The government approved the rules for preferential leasing of high-tech equipment for the production of agricultural products. The list of such equipment will have to be approved by the Ministry of Agriculture.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a resolution - dated August 7, 2021 No. 1313 - on the mechanism for providing state support to leasing organizations. Subsidies are designed to stimulate them to provide farmers with discounts when purchasing high-tech equipment.
The list of equipment covered by state support will be approved by the Ministry of Agriculture in agreement with the Ministry of Industry and Trade. According to the resolution, these are equipment and machinery with the help of which the products of the agro-industrial complex are produced and (or) processed and sold - the Ministry of Agriculture should also determine its list.
The discount can be up to 45% of the cost of the leased asset if a conclusion on the production of equipment and machinery in Russia is received, and up to 25% if there is no such conclusion.
Russia increased exports of agricultural products by 15% by August 8
According to the press service of the government, the support measure will begin to operate in full force from next year. Total in 2022-2023 it is planned to allocate more than 24 billion rubles for its financing.
