
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Irkutsk Region is accepting applications from agricultural producers of the Irkutsk Region in 16 areas of support in crop and livestock production, the regional administration said.
Since the beginning of the year, 407 million rubles have already been paid to farmers. This is 36% more than on the same date in 2021.
“Today it is important to carry out the sowing campaign in a quality and timely manner, and the Government of the Irkutsk Region is ready to pay subsidies in full to stimulate the growth of agricultural production and support farmers. At the moment, 255.3 million rubles have already been allocated to compensate for the costs of paying lease payments for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment used in agricultural sectors,” said Irkutsk Region Governor Igor Kobzev.
As the Minister of Agriculture of the Irkutsk Region Ilya Sumarokov explained, in March it is planned to pay 961 million rubles to reimburse producers of grain crops for part of the costs of producing and selling grain crops, to reimburse costs for the production of vegetables in protected ground, to support livestock breeding, to ensure an increase in MILK production, for the production and sale for slaughter in live weight of cattle, sheep, goats, horses and turkeys, for ensuring the growth of the breeding stock of cattle of specialized MEAT breeds, for the purchase of milk and meat from the population, for the purchase of machinery and equipment for the provision of services members of agricultural consumer cooperatives, for reimbursement of expenses for consulting services, for a one-time payment for the arrangement of young professionals.
