At a meeting on June 6, representatives of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR discussed with agricultural it specialists the improvement of the Mercury system and the FSIS VetIS API interface. In the message of the department, it is indicated that the developers are planning to upgrade the gateway of the Mercury system to version 3.0.
At the moment, version 2.1 of the gateway is in use - it is used by more than 90% of all farmers. However, about 4,000 farmers still use Gateway 2.0, which was launched in 2017 and is now out of date. The developers noted that farmers will have the opportunity to switch to version 2.1 or immediately to version 3.0, but in any case, the gateway version will have to be updated, since it will become impossible to use it from December 1, 2023 - it will simply stop working.
Gateway version 3.0 will be launched in September 2023, the agency said. Farmers are urged not to delay the upgrade of the system.
