
September 14, MINSK . A resident of Polotsk illegally imported 320 liters of ALCOHOL and 200 liters of vodka from RUSSIA. BELTA was informed about this by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
Traffic police officers detained a 51-year-old resident of Polotsk, who was bringing from Russia 320 liters of alcohol and 200 liters of bottled vodka without Belarusian excise tax. According to the detainee, he purchased alcohol and brought it for himself. Upon inspection of the man's vehicle , officers determined that it was filled with tinted diesel fuel.For transporting alcohol in quantities exceeding the permitted limit, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the detainee under Part 2 of Article 13.21 of the Administrative Code. He faces a fine of 10 to 100 basic units with confiscation of alcoholic beverages.
