Investigation of the "black widow" case from Cherven completed

June 14, Minsk. The Investigation Department of the USC for the Minsk region has completed the investigation of a criminal case on infliction of grievous bodily harm that resulted in the death of a 66-year-old man. This was announced to BelTA by the official representative of the USC in the Minsk region Elena Krupenina.

During the investigation, it was established that on the evening of March 22, the deceased and his 60-year-old cohabitant drank alcohol at their place of residence in the city of Cherven. The day before, the man received a pension, and drinking companions even put a lock on the front door so that no one would distract them from drinking alcohol. They climbed into the house through the window.

In the process of drinking alcohol, the couple had a conflict over a bottle that was not shared. The woman grabbed a knife and hit her roommate in the leg area. The victim started bleeding. The figurant bandaged her leg with a curtain, and the couple went to bed.

In the morning the woman woke up because the whole bed was covered in blood. Through the window, she began to call relatives from a neighboring house. The son-in-law knocked down the lock and found the pensioner already dead.

An investigative team was on the scene. During the inspection, a trace picture was recorded, objects and objects related to the incident, including a knife, were seized. The woman told the arrived militiamen that the cohabitant had cut himself on the window glass, the ambulance staff that he had accidentally stumbled upon a knife. Only during the interrogation by the investigator did the suspect tell what really happened and plead guilty.

According to the expert's conclusion, the knife seized from the scene is not ruled out as an instrument of injury, but a piece of glass is excluded. The conclusions of a number of other expert studies conducted by specialists of the GKSE department for the Minsk region are attached to the case materials.

The actions of the defendant were qualified by the investigation under Part 3 of Article 147 (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, dangerous to life, negligently resulting in the death of the victim) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

It is known about the person involved that she currently has no criminal record, but in the past she was prosecuted for causing grievous bodily harm, and a few years later for the murder of her ex-husband. On both occasions, she also stabbed the men. Another cohabitant "black widow" severely beaten, causing grievous bodily harm. He did not live to see the trial.

With the sanction of the prosecutor, the defendant was subjected to a measure of restraint in the form of detention.
