Over the weekend, 150 accidents were registered in Minsk

December 13, Minsk. The Metropolitan State Traffic Inspectorate has summed up the results of the weekend, BelTA learned from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

"Over the past weekend, 150 road accidents were registered in Minsk, two people died, eight were injured. 27 drivers were detained for driving while intoxicated . Traffic police officers stopped 102 facts of driving vehicles without rights. 127 drivers were detained for violations of the rules for crossing pedestrian crossings," - said state traffic inspectors.

371 pedestrians violated the rules of the road, 46 of which were under the influence of alcohol.

The state traffic inspectorate calls on all road users to strictly observe traffic rules and recommends remembering road safety measures.
