Over the weekend, 96 accidents occurred on the capital's roads

February 20, Minsk. Over the weekend, 96 accidents occurred on the capital's roads, in which one person was injured. BelTA was informed about this by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The traffic police inspectors detained 15 drivers for driving while intoxicated. Traffic police officers also prevented 55 facts of driving vehicles by persons who do not have a driver's license.

For violations of the rules of passage of pedestrian crossings, the traffic police attracted 197 motorists, another 47 drivers neglected the requirements for the use of seat belts.

According to the traffic police, 519 pedestrians violated traffic rules, 59 of them were intoxicated .

The traffic police urges road users to respect each other and reminds that strict observance of traffic rules is a guarantee of safety.
