a drunk man damaged the car of a friend who was visiting him. This was reported to BELTA by the official representative of the State Forensic Expertise Committee for the Mogilev Region, Irina Rachkovskaya.
In February, the 35-year-old resident of Bobruisk came to visit friends in Osipovichi, but after a get-together he had to go to the police. The man explained to law enforcement that on the night from Friday to Saturday he was in the company of friends at the residence of one of them. In the morning, the resident of Bobruisk discovered mechanical damage to his Subaru Forester, parked near his house. The unknown person made a dent in the front fender, broke the headlight, tore out the front door handles, broke the rearview mirror mount and tore off the rear license plate.
During the inspection of the scene, a specialist from the State Forensic Expertise Committee discovered and removed a shoe sole print on the body, presumably left by the perpetrator.
Law enforcement officers began checking the car owner and his friends and established a match with the shoe of one of the victim's friends. This was subsequently confirmed by the results of a forensic trace examination.
The Osipovichi District Department of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case.
