The culprit of a fatal accident in Mikashevichi was taken into custody

April 25, Brest. The prosecutor's office of the Luninets district authorized the detention of a 30-year-old local resident in the case of a fatal accident, BelTA learned from the information service of the prosecutor's office of the Brest region.

April 16 in the city of Mikashevichi. According to the case file, the drunk defendant driving a Chrysler drove into the oncoming lane and collided with another car. After the collision, the Chrysler crashed into a light tower and overturned, damaging a metal fence. Two passengers of the foreign car were killed.

It was established that the perpetrator of the accident did not have a driver's license and was repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility through the traffic police.

The Luninets regional department of the Investigative Committee opened and is investigating a criminal case.
