In the Vitebsk region, a drunk tractor driver crashed into a pole

August 19, Vitebsk. A drunk tractor driver in the Vitebsk region crashed into a power line pylon. This was reported to a BelTA correspondent by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

On the afternoon of August 18, the machine operator of one of the agricultural complexes in the Vitebsk region was already pretty drunk. He drank an alcoholic drink alone, and later decided to entertain himself with a tractor ride in the agricultural town of Yanovichi. On Unishevskogo Street, a tractor crashed into a power line pylon, strongly tilting the pole. The tractor itself received technical damage.

Police officers, who soon arrived at the scene of the accident, did not catch the driver at the wheel. They found a 40-year-old man in one of the houses on a nearby street. The drunk mechanic reacted sharply to the appearance of uninvited guests.

The results of a medical examination showed that the man was in a state of extreme intoxication . 3.29 ppm was found in the tractor driver's blood.

it is known that earlier the man was not involved in similar traffic violations. The check is being carried out by the Vitebsk District Department of Internal Affairs.
