August 22, Vitebsk. The shepherd dog, beaten by the mistress in Vitebsk, will be kept in the nursery of the regional department of the Department of Protection. This was reported to a BelTA correspondent in the information and public relations department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

The dog will remain in the kennel of the regional department of the Department of Protection for the time being on the instructions of the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov. Specialists will provide the pet with the necessary veterinary care, and soon he will find a new owner. In the meantime, the dog is in a shelter for homeless animals.

Recently, caring users posted a video on social networks in which a woman cruelly raises her dog right in front of passers-by. Police officers quickly responded to the incident and seized a pet from the 34-year-old mistress, who often abuses alcoholic beverages. Now the issue of bringing a resident of Vitebsk to criminal responsibility is being resolved.

The woman has already come to the attention of law enforcement officers for cruelty to animals in May last year. Then her spitz was also taken away.
