
May 14, Vitebsk. In Vitebsk, an individual entrepreneur will pay an administrative fine of Br12,800 for selling counterfeit ALCOHOL under a foreign brand, BelTA learned from the press service of the regional tax inspectorate.
The illegal activities of the trader were stopped by tax inspectors during joint activities with law enforcement agencies. In one of the TELEGRAM channels, the entrepreneur published an announcement about the sale of FINLANDIA VODKA OF FINLAND alcoholic beverages in 3-liter plastic bags placed in cardboard boxes with a polymer stopper. During the operational purchase, the fact of sale of alcohol in the amount of Br120 was established.In total, 6 packages of vodka were seized, while the products did not have excise stamps of Belarus or special stamps of other states, and the shelf life of the product was not indicated. According to the results of the examination, it was established that the content of ethyl alcohol in the seized liquids ranged from 35.5% to 36.2%, and denaturing additives (diethyl phthalate) were also identified. In addition, according to the conclusion of specialists acting on behalf of the manufacturing company, alcoholic products are not original.
By a COURT decision, an individual entrepreneur was brought to administrative responsibility under Article 13.20 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus (production (manufacturing), movement and circulation of counterfeit alcoholic beverages) with confiscation of the subject of the offense and illegally obtained income.
