July 1, Brest. A pensioner drowned in the Stolin region, BelTA learned from the Brest Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations .
The tragedy occurred on July 31 in the agricultural town of Olshany. At 19.55, rescuers received a message about the discovery of a drowned man in Lake Olshansky. Emergencies Ministry workers who arrived at the scene removed the body of a drowned man born in 1958 from the water.Rescuers urge citizens to follow safety rules when near the water. You should swim only in specially designated places, do not swim behind the buoys and do not enter the water in a state ofALCOHOL intoxication . Parents should keep young children within walking distance. Fishing enthusiasts are advised to fish in well-known areas, avoiding steep banks, preferring daytime fishing.
