A woman got behind the wheel of the car because she did not drink ALCOHOL that day. Her 35-year-old husband was in the front passenger seat. At some point along the way, the drunken pensioner grabbed a knife and stabbed the man at least twice. The incident occurred near the village of Koptevo in the Polotsk region.

The couple ran out of the car into the street, deliberately locking the drunken attacker in it. The couple called an ambulance and the police.

The crime scene was inspected by the investigative team. The knife with which the attacker struck was seized. UGKSE specialists in the Vitebsk region will conduct the necessary examinations.

The pensioner himself failed to explain the reasons for the aggression, citing his conditionalcohol intoxication . For particularly malicious hooliganism, he became a defendant in a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 339 of the Criminal Code. The villager has been charged and is in custody. The circumstances of the criminal case are established by the Polotsk interdistrict department of the Investigative Committee. It is known that the man had no previous convictions.
