A drunk minibus driver was detained in Mogilev

December 6, Mogilev. In Mogilev, traffic police officers detained a drunk driver of a minibus, BelTA learned from the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee.

The incident occurred on December 6 at about 7.00 on Ostrovsky Street. Traffic police inspectors stopped a Volkswagen minibus. Law enforcement officers noticed that the number of passengers in the transport exceeded the number provided for by the design of the minibus.

When a warning was issued for violating the rules for transporting passengers, suspicion was caused by the physical condition of the driver. The examination showed 1.1 ppm of alcohol in exhaled air vapor.

For driving while intoxicated, the offender faces administrative liability, providing for up to 5 years of deprivation of the right to drive and up to 200 basic fines.
