In Minsk, a driver was detained with 2.5 ppm of alcohol

February 15, Minsk. Employees of the traffic police of the Partizansky district of the capital detained a drunk driver, BelTA learned from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

On the morning of February 14, the 62-year-old driver of a Ford was driving through the yard of 1st Mendeleev Lane. "Near house No. 53, while reversing, he was not convinced of the safety of his actions and hit a parked BMW car. The traffic police inspectors of the traffic police department of the Partizansky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk who arrived at the scene suspected that the perpetrator of the incident was intoxicated," - told in the capital's traffic police.

The police brought the motorist for examination. According to its results, 2.5 ppm of alcohol was found in the body of a man. Administrative materials were drawn up against the driver, the car was delivered to a guarded parking lot.

State traffic inspectors reminded: "When you get behind the wheel in a state of intoxication, you endanger not only yourself, but also those around you."
