107 accidents registered in Minsk over the weekend

February 28, Minsk. Over the past weekend, 107 traffic accidents were registered in Minsk, in which one person was injured and one died, BelTA learned from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

24 drivers were detained for driving while intoxicated , 69 were fined for speeding. Traffic police officers prevented 118 facts of driving vehicles without rights.

277 drivers were detained for violations of the rules of passage of pedestrian crossings, 487 pedestrians violated the rules of the road.

The state traffic inspectorate calls on all road users to strictly observe traffic rules and recommends remembering road safety measures.
