During the first half of the year, eight accidents were registered in Minsk due to the fault of drunk drivers. Two people were killed and six others were injured. In addition, traffic police officers in the first half of 2022 revealed 1,105 facts of driving while intoxicated. 30 motorists repeatedly got behind the wheel under a degree during the year.

The State traffic inspectorate reminded that drunk driving is the most dangerous violation of traffic rules.
