June 16, Minsk . In Minsk, traffic police officers detained a drunk female driver. BelTA was informed about this by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The day before, employees of the traffic police department of the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk stopped a Peugeot foreign car near the house No. 164 on Mayakovsky Street. The car was driven by a 47-year-old woman. Her physical condition alerted the employees of the State traffic inspectorate.

A medical examination revealed 2.8 ppm of alcohol in the exhaled air.

When the employees asked why the woman got behind the wheel while intoxicated, she replied that she had to drive only one stop and pick up the goods. The woman explained that she drank three glasses of strong alcoholic drink. She also said that she was aware of the danger she posed to other road users in such a state.
