The agency reported that the first incident occurred on the evening of June 21 near the village of Zapolye in the Korelichi District. The body of a 55-year-old man

was found in a body of water . it was established that the local resident had been drinking ALCOHOL the previous day .

Alcohol was also a factor in a drowning in the Ostrovets District. According to investigators, on the afternoon of June 21, a 50-year-old resident of the district center went fishing with his son in the agro-town of Palushi. That evening, the young man went home, while his father stayed behind to fish. When the man failed to return the next morning, the children raised the alarm. His body was found in the water. Other fishermen reported seeing him drinking alcohol on the shore.

Local investigative units are conducting investigations to determine all the circumstances of the incident.
