
November 8, Brest. In Brest, traffic police officers detained a drunk driver of a car, in the trunk of which a woman was sleeping. This information was published by the Department of Internal Affairs of the regional executive committee, BelTA informs.
The incident took place on the night of November 7 on Voikov Street. At about two o'clock in the morning, the traffic police stopped the car "Volkswagen Passat", wagging along the road. In addition, the driver was talking on the phone while driving and was not wearing a seat belt. Behind the wheel was a 31-year-old Brest resident with obvious signs of ALCOHOL intoxication (according to the results of a medical examination - 2 ppm). During the inspection of the car, the inspectors opened the trunk. A woman was sleeping there, whom the driver did not immediately remember.
Several protocols were drawn up against the man. By the way, in 2015, he was already prosecuted for drunk driving and was deprived of his rights.
From November 5 to November 7, employees of the regional traffic police carried out enhanced control and revealed 2,365 traffic violations. Including in the field of view of law enforcement officers came 21 drunk drivers and 75 lawless.
