According to investigators, on the night of March 31, a 36-year-old resident of Borisov was mortally injured as a result of a train collision on the Zhodino-Borisov railway line near the Pechinsky gardening partnership. An investigative team immediately left for the scene of the incident, which established that the man was walking in the direction of Borisov in headphones. They, as well as a mobile phone with music turned on, were found and seized during the inspection of the scene.

The investigator, with the involvement of a specialist from the UGKSE for the Minsk region, conducted an inspection of the scene, interviewed employees of the railway station, and appointed a forensic medical examination. On this fact, the Borisov district department of the Investigative Committee is checking.

The Investigative Committee recalled the rules of safe behavior when crossing the railway tracks. "Do not be near the tracks while intoxicated , do not walk on the tracks and do not sit on the rails. Do not use headphones and mobile phones, and make sure that there is no railway traffic in your line of sight. Never cross the tracks in front of a moving train. You should not pass along the railway track closer than 5 m from the outermost rail," the UK said in a statement.
