“Since the beginning of the swimming season in Belarus, 22 people have drowned, more than 5 thousand offenses near water bodies have been stopped. Employees of the internal affairs bodies pay special attention to the prevention and suppression of offenses related to swimming in prohibited places, drinking alcoholic beverages and beer on the beaches, as well as observing drivers of the rules of the road. Violators are subject to administrative measures," the ministry said.

Law enforcement officers remind that you can not go into the water in a state of intoxication . It is important not to lose sight of children, even if they can swim. Policemen pay attention to the fact that you should swim only in equipped places where there are posts of rescue services, because most drownings occur in wild waters where there are no OSVOD employees.
