A taxi driver with 1.6 ppm of alcohol was detained in Mozyr

January 6, Gomel. In Mozyr, traffic police officers detained a drunk taxi driver. BELTA was informed about this by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.

Line 102 received a call on the evening of January 3 from a Mozyr woman who was riding in a taxi and suspected that the driver was intoxicated. The nearest squad of employees of the Mozyr District Department of Internal Affairs immediately responded to the message.

On the street International inspectors, using flashing lights and a loud-speaking device, stopped a Volkswagen driven by an alleged traffic violator. Suspicions were confirmed: a 37-year-old local resident indeed showed signs of intoxication and later told employees that he had drunk ALCOHOL with a friend before work . 1.6 ppm of alcohol was found in the exhaled air of taxi drivers. Traffic police inspectors compiled administrative material, the car was placed in a guarded parking lot, and administrative arrest was placed on it.

State traffic inspectors expressed gratitude to concerned citizens for their help in detaining a drunken road user and once again called on everyone to strictly observe traffic rules.
