Forensic experts named the cause of death of a drug addict in the forest park of Vitebsk

January 30, Vitebsk. Forensic experts determined the cause of death of a woman found in the Vitebsk forest plantation last year. This was reported to a BelTA correspondent by the official representative of the State Committee for Forensic Examinations (UGKSE) for the Vitebsk region Tatiana Serebryakova.

As it turned out, a drug-addicted 34-year-old Vitebsk woman and her friend, hoping to find a bookmark with a dose of a prohibited substance, went to the nearest city forest park. Later, the man said that his companion's condition was akin to ALCOHOL intoxication, he then decided that it was caused by medication.

The search for a couple was never successful. Long after midnight, the man invited his girlfriend to return, a quarrel ensued between them, and they parted. The woman stayed in the park. In the morning, passers-by found her, still alive.

Arriving doctors ascertained the clinical death of the Vitebsk woman. Despite all resuscitation efforts, it was not possible to save her.

On this fact, a forensic medical examination was scheduled at the UGKSE in the Vitebsk region, which showed that the cause of death was general hypothermia. The examination also showed that the woman's blood contained prohibited substances, including the dangerous psychotropic alpha-PVP.
