Skolichenko's lawyer Dmitry Gerasimov told RBC that the defense writes appeals to all instances - the Commissioner for Human Rights, the HRC, the leadership of the Federal Penitentiary Service.

“We are all doing what we can. On the part of the Federal Penitentiary Service, yesterday - my colleague was with her [Skolichenko] - no, there was no result. We turned to all possible bodies: the Federal Penitentiary Service, the HRC, and the prosecutor's office, we have nowhere else to turn. A COURT in St. Petersburg placed Skolichenko in custody on April 14. A criminal case was opened against the girl under the article about fakes about a special operation. According to investigators, she changed the price tags in the store for anti-war leaflets with information about the actions of the Russian military in Ukraine, which the Russian Defense Ministry calls false. Skolichenko faces five to ten years in prison.

First, the girl was placed in a temporary detention center, and then transferred to SIZO-5. According to lawyer Yana Nepovinnova, due to gluten intolerance, the girl cannot eat there, she had an attack. At the same time, she did not receive the parcels that sympathizers tried to send to the arrested woman, the lawyer told Kommersant on April 26.

On the same day, the Federal Penitentiary Service replied that the current regulatory documents “do not provide for the provision of separate or individual meals for people who need gluten-free food,” and suggested that the arrested person receive food in transfers or buy them in a prison store, Fontanka reported. The federal service also clarified that the transfers for Skolichenko have not yet been received, and if they do, they will be accepted.
