
May 18, Moscow. The meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission will take place on May 19, BelTA learned from the press service of the EEC.
Among the issues submitted to the meeting is work on a draft agreement on the regulation of the alcohol market in the Eurasian Economic Union. A report will be heard on the creation and development of transport infrastructure in the EAEU countries in the East-West and North-South directions, including in conjunction with the Chinese One Belt, One Road initiative. The application of the goods accounting system provided for by the protocol on certain issues of importation and circulation of goods in the customs territory of the EAEU dated October 16, 2015 will be considered.The members of the EEC Council intend to change the procedure for interaction between the EAEU countries in the prevention, diagnosis, localization and elimination of foci of especially dangerous, quarantine and zoonotic animal diseases and the implementation of regionalization and compartmentalization. There are also plans to change the rules for registration and examination of the safety, quality and effectiveness of medical devices. In addition, it is planned to consider the issue of signing a protocol on amending the agreement on uniform principles and rules for the circulation of medical devices in the EAEU.
