Metropolitan traffic police officers arrested a drunk driver as a result of prosecution

December 25, Minsk. The attention of the traffic police inspectors of the traffic police department of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk was attracted by the car "Mercedes", which was moving uncertainly along Volodko street. The police signaled to stop. However, the driver ignored the request and continued driving, increasing speed. The traffic police started chasing. A few minutes later, the perpetrator was arrested. It turned out to be a 27-year-old Minsker who was intoxicated . According to the results of the examination, 1.73 ppm of alcohol was found in his body. In addition, it was established that the owner of the Mercedes was nearby in the passenger seat, also under the influence of alcohol, and allowed his drunk comrade to drive.

Now, in relation to both the driver and the owner of the car, protocols have been drawn up on administrative offenses under Part 2 and Part 3 of Art. 18.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus, respectively. The car is placed in a guarded parking lot.
