October 20, Minsk . Traffic police officers identified a drunk driver on the road to Borovlyany. BelTA was informed about this by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.

On the M3 Minsk - Vitebsk highway , traffic police officers of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee carried out covert control over the speed limit of traffic flows. At about 16.40 they recorded a Volvo car driven by a 50-year-old resident of the Logoisk district speeding. The woman was moving towards Borovlyany at a speed of 95 km/h.

State traffic inspectors stopped the vehicle. During the administrative process, when communicating with the driver, a traffic police inspector identified a characteristic odor of alcohol. A test with a breathalyzer, and later at a medical facility, confirmed the presence of alcohol in the driver’s blood - more than 0.8 ppm.

The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee noted that for driving a vehicle in a stateof alcohol intoxication and exceeding the speed limit, administrative materials were drawn up against the violator.
