January 31, Vitebsk. Investigators are establishing the cause of death of a resident of the Sharkovshchina district, whose death was reported on January 30. This was reported to a BelTA correspondent in the department of the Investigative Committee for the Vitebsk region.

According to preliminary data, a 44-year-old man drank alcohol for a week. When the alcohol was over, he drank the windshield washer fluid. When the man became ill, his friend called an ambulance. A lover of strong drinks died in intensive care the next day.

An investigative-operational group worked at the scene, an inspection was carried out, expert studies were appointed. Experts also interviewed witnesses and neighbors of the deceased. The Sharkovshchina District Department of the Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation.
