April 4, Mogilev. Investigators are identifying eyewitnesses to a fatal accident in the Mogilev region. BELTA was informed about this by official representative of the USC for the Mogilev region Tatyana Starosotnikova.
The accident occurred on March 29 at about 20.00 on the 268th km of the M8/E95 highway - the border of the Mogilev and Bykhov districts. A truck hit a 32-year-old pedestrian who was in a state of severe
ALCOHOL intoxication . The man died.
In connection with the accident, a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 317 of the Criminal Code - violation of traffic rules, resulting in
the death of a person through negligence.
Investigators are appealing to eyewitnesses who, shortly before the tragedy, could see the actions and direction of movement of the pedestrian, with a request to report the circumstances to the operational duty service of the USC in the Mogilev region by phone: (80222) 74-85-70, 29-80-06 (24 hours a day ), 29-82-05, 29-81-84 (on weekdays, from 9.00 to 18.00).
