
January 3, MINSK. A resident of Rechitsa, who died on New Year's Eve, was intoxicated and under the influence of drugs. This was reported to BelTA by the Investigative Committee.
"As previously reported, last year, police officers at a public transport stop in Rechitsa detained a 27-year-old local resident with signs of severe ALCOHOL intoxication, who behaved inappropriately, molested passers-by and provoked conflicts, reacted aggressively to the comments of law enforcement officers. For proceedings the man was taken to the district department of internal affairs, and then on the way to a medical examination, he became ill. Despite resuscitation measures, a resident of Rechitsa died in the hospital," the UK said.
Investigators are investigating this fact. A forensic medical examination has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death. According to the preliminary conclusions of experts, the death is not of a traumatic nature - no damage to internal organs or bone fractures were found on the body of the deceased. it has now been established that the concentration of ethyl alcohol in the blood of a man was 4.3 ppm.
"In addition, a bag with a dangerous drug - marijuana, was found on him, which was confirmed by a chemical examination. A similar substance was found in the urine of the deceased. When examining his mobile phone, correspondence with an online drug store was found, which may indicate the man's involvement in "Based on this information, experts establish the presence of other narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in his body," the ministry added.
Investigators establish the circle of friends of the deceased. From the available characterizing material, it was established that the young man was a defendant in a criminal case on causing bodily harm, and was repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility.
