It is established that the Chrysler driver was drunk at the time of the accident. According to the results of a medical examination, the concentration of alcohol in the exhaled air was 1.2 ppm.

Investigators interrogated the witnesses of the accident, appointed expert studies, the production of which was entrusted to the specialists of the GKSE.

The Luninets regional department of the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case against a 30-year-old man under part 5 of article 317 (violation of traffic rules while intoxicated , resulting in the death of two persons by negligence) of the Criminal Code.

As reported, a fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of April 16 in the city of Mikashevichi. Moving along Pervomaiskaya Street, Chrysler drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Volkswagen car, after which it crashed into a lighting mast and rolled over. As a result of the accident, two Chrysler passengers died. The driver and another passenger were taken to the hospital. The married couple, who was in the second foreign car, was not injured.
