JSC "MINSK KRISTALL" - the managing company of the holding "MINSK KRISTALL GROUP" is the largest producer of alcoholic beverages in Belarus. Thanks to modern technologies, staff qualifications and developed infrastructure, the company's products have proven themselves not only in domestic, but also in foreign markets. On the eve of the 130th anniversary, we visited the workshops and talk about those whose skill and dedication led to the success of the enterprise

All for people

This is how the social policy of JSC "MINSK KRISTALL" can be briefly characterized. In modern conditions, it is the team that is the most important capital for the enterprise. After all, the skills of specialists and their experience are converted into success in production.

- I am sure that each of our employees is proud to be a member of a large family of Kristallovtsy, - says Viktor Lutsein, Deputy General DIRECTOR for Ideological Work, Personnel and Legal Affairs of MINSK KRISTALL OJSC - the managing company of the MINSK KRISTALL GROUP holding. - A flexible social policy has been built here. Without unnecessary bravado, the social package that our specialists have is one of the strongest in the capital.

The company has a rich history. Founded in 1893, the production, through the decades, was able to carry the traditions of making alcoholic beverages, improving the technological cycle and applying modern techniques. That is why today "MINSK KRISTALL" is rightfully considered one of the most high-tech enterprises in Minsk. Production facilities are constantly updated. In the manufacture of products, only domestic raw materials are used. These factors, coupled with the efficient work of employees, allow the company to constantly conquer new frontiers.

– Experts play a key role in success. Production is quite complex, so it is necessary to constantly grow professionally and improve skills. The example of the MINSK KRISTALL team shows that an effectively built management system and employee motivation contribute to the positive development of the enterprise, - Viktor Lutsein draws attention.

Interesting and honorable

Today, the company employs about 1,200 people, almost half of whom work in the capital. Among the Kristallovtsy there are many who have devoted many years of their lives to production.

- There is a simple explanation for this fact, - emphasizes Viktor Lutsein. - First of all, thanks to competitive wages and a strong social side. People value their jobs very much. We have some pretty unique cases.

A striking example is the chief engineer Vitaly Karanevich. He came to production as a simple mechanic, went through all the career steps, and this is due to constant professional development, talent and a desire to improve.

Vitaly Adamovich himself says that it is interesting and honorable to work in such a large production.

- There has always been a desire to gain knowledge, to find new approaches to business. I like to improve, look for unique solutions to make production even better and more competitive. When you see the result, you understand that all the efforts were not in vain, - the specialist admits.

The chief engineer notes the high manufacturability of production.

– For nearly a quarter of a century, we have made great strides forward in this direction. And we do not think to stop, - Vitaly Karanevich summed up.

Today, the chief engineer has a lot of tasks. He controls the operation of the motor transport section, the service of the chief power engineer, and production workshops located in other cities. Together with subordinates, he ensures the operation of all equipment, without which it is impossible to imagine modern production.

– Of course, it is not easy. You are always in touch, you must be aware of all ongoing processes, even the smallest ones. In this case, the factor of discipline is especially important. I am very pleased that I am implementing my competencies at a well-known enterprise throughout the country. I'm sure we have more achievements ahead of us. We will do everything to make MINSK KRISTALL prosper and delight consumers with new products,” the chief engineer emphasized.

Over the years of its existence, the company's products have been awarded more than a thousand awards at various specialized competitions not only in Belarus, but also in other countries. MINSK KRISTALL OJSC, the managing company of the MINSK KRISTALL GROUP holding, is also a laureate of the Government Prize. The staff of the enterprise received another recognition quite recently. Last week, the chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Vladimir Kukharev, solemnly presented a diploma on the recognition of two commodity items at the competition "The Best Goods of the Republic of Belarus in 2022". An interesting fact: the team of the enterprise received its first award back in 1905.

The trademark "CRYSTAL" is a classic, recognized not only in the republic, but also far beyond its borders. This is also a combination of production traditions established back in the 19th century, classic recipes that have not lost their relevance to this day, and advanced technologies of the 21st century.

When work is fun

Let's go to production. The first thing that surprises the plant is the cleanliness of the territory. This is a sure sign of a responsible approach to the organization of work.

The HEAD of one of the workshops, Irina Nasanovich, has been in production for almost 25 years.

I ended up here, believe me, by accident. Friends told me about the job. Decided why not? I thought I would come to the factory temporarily. But, as they say, in our life there is nothing more permanent than temporary. I don’t regret at all that I connected my life with MINSK KRISTALL,” the specialist smiles.

About a hundred people work under the supervision of Irina Viktorovna. Production is organized in two shifts. In the workshop, products are poured.

- I would especially like to note how much the equipment and components have changed over the years. It would seem that only 25 years, but the difference is colossal. Today, everything is fully automated, computerized. It is a pleasure to work, - the woman admits.

According to our heroine, the secret of product success lies in improving its quality.

– And it is always interesting and useful, – Irina Nasanovich notes. “Ultimately, both the consumer and the manufacturer benefit from this process. There are many of our specialists who have spent decades in production. Their experience and new technologies make our products in demand.

Among the old-timers of production is Vladimir Zakharik, he has been at MINSK KRISTALL for 43 years. There is only one entry in his workbook. Vladimir Vladimirovich is engaged in maintenance of all equipment that is installed in the workshop. And who, if not him, can tell about the difference in approaches to production "then" and "now".

“When I first came to the plant, many production operations were carried out manually,” the specialist recalls. “Today we have modern foreign equipment that successfully copes with all processes. My task is to keep the production line always in action. Even a few hours of downtime can lead to unpredictable consequences.

Vladimir Zakharik has already reached retirement age, but he is in no hurry to take a well-deserved rest. It is recognized that the motivation to work has not gone away. In addition, he likes to study new equipment, look for ways to solve certain problems.

– Excellent working conditions have been created at MINSK KRISTALL. Management constantly supports experienced staff. Our knowledge and skills are in demand. It's captivating. There was a lot of strength and desire to work. I would like to bring even more benefit to the enterprise, which has become an integral part of my life, - says the specialist.

Transfer experience to young staff

This motto is guided by the welder Nikolai Kholodov. He gave more than 40 years to the MINSK KRISTALL enterprise.

- Back in the 70s, he worked at one of the assembly enterprises in the capital. After working there for 8 years, he ended up at MINSK KRISTALL. I consider this event one of the most important in my life. After all, it was here that I was able to realize my potential, improve my skills, - says Nikolai Stepanovich.

There is a lot of work, the master admits. Every day, he performs many tasks on which the maintenance of the production cycle depends:

“A lot has changed at the plant since I came here. Certainly for the better. Strongly added the material and technical part. For example, I work on the most modern equipment, and this is much easier and more efficient.

And relax and heal

The company's management puts the care of its people at the forefront. On the basis of "MINSK KRISTALL" there is its own sports and HEALTH center, where each employee can go in for sports free of charge. In addition to the multifunctional gym, the building houses a swimming pool and a sauna . The highlight of the complex is the medical unit. Here, plant workers can receive qualified service.

Elena Novodvorskaya, an employee of the company's first-aid post, explained that the medical unit has several rooms of various types.

- The most popular are physiotherapy, - the specialist draws attention. “We are also ready to provide first aid in case of an employee’s illness, accident. We are trying to keep our people healthy. This is facilitated by modern equipment.

The dental office is also popular, where you can also perform almost any procedure for free, excluding prosthetics.

Anniversary - another milestone

MINSK KRISTALL is approaching its 130th anniversary with optimism: product sales are growing, and financial indicators are improving. This allows you to modernize production, as well as improve working conditions at the enterprise.

“Such a big date means a lot to us,” Viktor Lutsein says. Let's celebrate this holiday . Behind 130 years of glorious history. However, there are still many tasks ahead that the team can solve only together.

Despite all the difficulties, including sanctions pressure, MINSK KRISTALL continues to work effectively.

- This can be seen from the indicators of exports and financial earnings of the enterprise. The past year has not been easy. However, we managed to significantly increase the key figures. Success provides a strong incentive to improve and grow. I am sure that thanks to the well-coordinated work of the team, MINSK KRISTALL will approach the next anniversary with even more impressive success,” summed up Viktor Lutsein.
