On May 6, at 21:36, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire in an apartment on Leningradskaya Street in Vitebsk. Rescuers who arrived at the scene found the owner of the apartment in the burning room and carried her outside. After being examined by ambulance workers, the pensioner, born in 1966, was hospitalized.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations workers quickly extinguished the fire. The mattress and bedding were damaged by the fire. The evacuation of residents was not required.
In addition, yesterday at 22:36, a resident of Gorki, walking her dog on Yakubovskogo Street, noticed a fire in the window of a residential building and immediately reported this to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
