"Drunk has no place on the road": 4.5 thousand violations revealed in Minsk

March 10, Minsk. The capital's traffic police summed up the results of the comprehensive preventive measures "There is no place for a drunk on the road" carried out from March 4 to March 9. During this time, 4.5 thousand violations were revealed, BelTA was told in the UGAI of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

In order to ensure road safety, traffic police inspectors conducted raids, as well as special raids called "Filter", which were aimed at identifying gross violations of traffic rules.

Among the offenders, 35 were driving under the influence of alcohol , 283 were driving without the right to drive, 539 drivers did not have a vehicle inspection.

In addition, 1407 pedestrians violated traffic rules, 132 of them were on the roadway in a state of intoxication.
