A drunken resident of the Pruzhany district stole a minibus and was going to go to Minsk to his nephew

The inspectors stopped a GAZ cargo minibus at about 3 am in the village of Gusak. An intoxicated man was driving. A medical examination later showed 2 ppm of alcohol in the exhaled air. The driver had no paperwork for the car. Explain whose minibus, he also could not.

Traffic police officers identified the owner. It turned out to be a 48-year-old resident of the agricultural town of Mukhavets, Brest region. When the police called him, he did not immediately understand the reason. The villager was sure that his minibus was standing near the house. At the same time, the man knew that the car was not closed, and he left the keys in the ignition.

As it turned out later, a 38-year-old man came to Mukhavets from the village of Ruzhany. Having drunk a lot, he decided that he urgently needed to go to his nephew in Minsk. And at first he tried to steal an unlocked Volkswagen Golf, but could not start the engine.

Several administrative protocols have been drawn up against the driver. In addition, investigators opened criminal cases for theft and attempted theft.
