Yesterday, a 19-year-old motorist driving a Volkswagen car-sharing car turned the car around at the intersection of st. Sverdlov and Ulyanovsk. When turning around, the driver did not give way to a taxi moving in the opposite direction and collided with him. During the inspection, the traffic police established that the car sharing driver was in a state of intoxication at the time of the accident. The result of a medical examination - 1.25 ppm of alcohol in his body. No one was injured in the road incident. Employees of the traffic police department of the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs of the capital worked at the scene of the accident.The traffic police reminds that drunk driving is subject to a fine of up to 200 basic units with deprivation of the right to drive for up to five years.
