March 6, Minsk. In Minsk, a drunk driver knocked down a 30-year-old woman at a pedestrian crossing. This information was published in the Telegram channel of the traffic police department of the Minsk City Executive Committee, BelTA informs.

The accident happened on March 5 at about 21.50. According to preliminary information, a 34-year-old man was driving a Volkswagen car. Opposite one of the houses on Leshchinsky Street, a driver knocked down a woman who was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. The pedestrian was injured and taken to the hospital.

Police arrived at the scene and suspected the driver was drunk. The examination showed 1.85 ppm of alcohol in his body.

Other circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
