A drunk driver hit a pedestrian at a bus stop in Minsk

July 15, Minsk . In Minsk this morning, a drunk driver hit a pedestrian. BelTA was informed about this by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The incident happened today at about 7.40 at a bus stop on Orlovskaya Street. While driving a car sharing car, a 21-year-old motorist lost control and ran into a 48-year-old man at a public transport stop. Ambulance doctors provided first aid to the victim and took him to the hospital.

During the check, it turned out that the driver had 2.36 ppm of ALCOHOL in his body.

The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds that for driving while intoxicated, the violator can be fined up to 200 basic units and deprived of his license for up to five years. If this happens again, the driver will be prosecuted and the car will be confiscated.
