Drunk 18-year-old lawless person caused an accident in the Mostovsky district

August 5, Grodno. The accident, in which the driver and passenger were injured, occurred in the Mostovsky district. BelTA was informed about this by the traffic police of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

“On August 4, an 18-year-old driver driving a Volvo was driving from the direction of the village of Zarudaviye in the direction of the village of Belavichi. He chose the wrong speed and lost control of the road at the rounding of the road, drove into a ditch and overturned several times. It was established that the young man was in state of alcoholic intoxication and did not have the right to drive a car," the traffic police said.

After the accident, the driver and a 20-year-old passenger who was in the front passenger seat were hospitalized in the intensive care unit of a local hospital. The young people were not wearing seat belts.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the accident.
