October 10, Gomel. Bystanders rescued a 58-year-old fisherman in the Dobrush district, the Gomel regional branch of the OSVOD organization told BelTA.
The man was fishing on a lake in Igovka. At one point, he lost his balance and fell into the water. Bystanders rushed to the fisherman's rescue. They helped him out of the water and called an ambulance. The victim was hospitalized.
OSVOD reminded everyone of the importance of following safe fishing rules. Fishing should not be done alone or while in a state ofALCOHOL intoxication , at night. On wet autumn grass, it's easy to slip and fall into the water.
