MINSK . Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced at a Cabinet meeting that
the government will spend nearly 200 billion zlotys (approximately $54.6 billion) on defense next year, RMF24 radio reports.
Tusk also pointed to a "colossal difference in spending on national defense, security, including the security of citizens within the country, and the security of the Polish border" compared to the previous government. According to him, current security spending significantly exceeds the efforts of his predecessors. Tusk added that, despite such significant spending, the government is striving to stay within the risk associated with a budget deficit. As
