Drunk driver arrested near Gomel

Today, at about 7.00, traffic police officers stopped a 41-year-old resident of the Gomel region in a Renault Laguna at the entrance to Gomel from the M5 highway. Administrative material was drawn up against him, the car was taken to a guarded parking lot. The offender faces a fine of 100 basic units and deprivation of the right to drive for a period of 3 years.
In total, today in the morning during intensive work on the roads of the region, law enforcement officers revealed more than 300 traffic violations, including 9 drivers detained for driving without the right to drive and 2 in a state of intoxication.
