June 20, Mogilev. Almost 1,000 traffic violations were detected by traffic police officers on the roads of the Mogilev region over the weekend. BelTA was informed about this by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee.
Over the past weekend, one accident was registered in the Mogilev region, in which one person was injured. The accident occurred in the Bobruisk region on June 18. Near the village of Lekerta, a 57-year-old Audi A4 driver, making a left turn at an intersection, did not give way and collided with a Ford Mondeo car moving in the opposite direction. A 55-year-old Ford passenger was injured in the collision. The woman was hospitalized.Employees of the traffic police of the region over the weekend revealed 978 traffic violations. 16 drunk drivers and 55 lawless people were detained.
114 pedestrians were brought to administrative responsibility for violating the rules of the road, of which 32 were in a state of alcoholic intoxication .
