From recycling to a pavilion at VDNKh. How the Belresursy holding is developing

November 1, MINSK . Chairman of the State Property Committee Dmitry Matusevich told journalists about the development of the Belresursy holding organizations during Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko's visit to Belkhim, a BELTA correspondent reports.

The Belresursy holding was established in January 2014. it includes trade and industrial organizations whose main activities are wholesale and retail trade in metal products, chemical products, rubber products, construction materials, production of industrial and technical products and consumer goods, plastic products, film, synthetic detergents, cardboard packaging, collection (procurement) of secondary material resources and their processing, organization of procurement procedures for goods, works, services, provision of logistics, brokerage and other services. The holding's enterprises include OAO Belresursy - the holding's management company, OAO Barkhim, OAO Belvtorpolimer, OAO Belkhim, OAO Medplast and others. The holding is also developing the Belarus pavilion at VDNKh in Moscow. "The competitiveness of the enterprises of the Belresursy holding is confirmed by exports. For some items, it reaches 30%. We produce import-substituting products from secondary raw materials. A separate block of the holding's work is the extraction, collection, processing, sorting of secondary material resources, delivery to itself or to partner enterprises of Belarus, and then competitive products are produced from this . And due to the fact that these are secondary resources, production is cheaper. There are many ideas, the holding's enterprises complement each other and develop," noted Dmitry Matusevich.

According to him, the holding's chemical enterprises are constantly expanding their product range, in particular, Belkhim plans to produce agrostretch - a seven-layer film, which is in high demand in agriculture for harvesting fodder and must meet strict quality parameters. The Chairman of the State Property Committee also spoke about an investment project at the Belmetall enterprise - it is planned to organize the production of welding wire. Such products can be supplied to automobile plants and other consumers. There are projects for medical purposes. For example, vacuum tubes for blood collection (the so-called vacutainers) are produced - this is an innovative project at the Gomel enterprise "Medplast". "Also in the near future, the production of three-component syringes, which are currently imported, will be mastered. They are also in demand in RUSSIA," added Dmitry Matusevich.
"There are other projects. For example, Belvtorpolimer in Grodno is a unique enterprise for processing mixed polyethylene. Only it has technologies for sorting films. The management company Belresursy today has a section for sorting broken glass, which is then supplied to domestic glass factories. The Borisov Plant of Plastic Products is constantly expanding its product line and successfully competes in the market. Despite the tough competition, Barkhim now has various projects in both technical chemistry and household chemistry. We have made a new high-quality domestic washing powder, which, I hope, our consumers will like," the Chairman of the State Property Committee noted.
He also announced the development of the pavilion at VDNKh. This year, it began operating for the first time as a showcase for the country. "We presented all the regions. Now there is a thematic exhibition dedicated to the BAM. The year will be completed by an exhibition dedicated to the Year of Quality. The pavilion is functioning successfully, the President's order is being fulfilled so that it is profitable, moreover, it is expanding. In addition, there is an online store through which wholesale flows go. The Belarusian pavilion has high attendance, they take an example from it. And this format of work will develop. General DIRECTOR of Belresursy OJSC, the management company of the Belresursy holding, reported today to the Prime Minister of Belarus on the results of its financial and economic activities. According to him, over 10 years, revenue from the sale of products, goods, works and services has grown by 1.8 times, net profit - by 4 times. Wholesale turnover - by 1.4 times. The volume of industrial production during this time has grown by 3.3 times.
