The Cherikovsky District Department of the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case on hooliganism committed with the use of weapons. According to the investigation, on the evening of February 15 in Cherikov, a 19-year-old resident of the district center, being intoxicated , fired several shots from a pneumatic pistol in the direction of a girl he knew. As a result, her leg was injured. The girl contacted law enforcement. The young man has been arrested.

According to the victim, a few days ago her remark about a drunken friend caused him aggression. And this time, her abuser, trying to apologize, behaved rudely and injured her by firing several times from an air pistol. At the time of the crime, he was drunk again.

The investigator examined the scene, interrogated the suspect and witnesses, seized a pistol, and assigned a number of expert investigations. When studying the personality of the defendant, it was established that he had previously been prosecuted for hooliganism.

The actions of the young man are qualified under part 3 of article 339 (hooliganism committed with the use of weapons) of the Criminal Code. The investigation is ongoing.
