Drunk minibus driver transported passengers in Brest

January 27, Brest. In Brest, employees of the State traffic inspectorate revealed a drunk driver of a fixed-route taxi, BelTA informs with reference to the Telegram channel of the Regional Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate.

The incident occurred on January 27 at about 3:40 pm on Moshenskogo Street. During the raid, traffic police officers stopped a shuttle vehicle driven by a 46-year-old Brest resident and three passengers in the cabin. During the conversation, the physical condition of the man aroused suspicion among the inspectors: a medical examination showed 1.8 ppm of alcohol in the exhaled air.

The minibus was placed in a guarded parking lot, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the minibus. The driver explained that he had consumed alcoholic beverages the day before, he did not agree with the offense imputed to him.

The State traffic inspectorate draws attention to the importance and necessity of observing traffic rules, and also urges citizens to report the facts of driving vehicles by drunk drivers and call 102.
